Tantanmen - Could dethrone takoyaki as the king

Now, I am still an avid takoyaki lover, but my God is tantanmen delicious. Maybe there's better stuff out there, but 850 yen for a bowl of gekikara tantanmen at shisen ramen is pretty hard to pass up. Everything about it is just perfect; the noodles, the meat, the broth, you name it. And it's spicey! Which Japan is severly lacking. Maybe this blog will just become one big ad for Shisen Ramen... there are a few around, but my favorite is the Sanbangai shop in Umeda. Tantanmen may just be the most complete delicious perfect meal around, unless you're Zach and you get IBS.
